Welcome to the Marine Conservation Game! This interactive game aims to educate students about marine life and conservation efforts through a series of engaging scenarios. Here's how you can get started and what you can expect throughout the game.
Getting Started
Scan the QR Code: Locate the QR code on the mural and scan it using your mobile device. This will direct you to the game platform.
Choose a Creature: Once you’re on the platform, select a marine creature from the available options. Each creature represents a unique learning journey.
Sign-Up: After selecting your creature, you will be prompted to enter your school email address and name your creature. This helps us keep track of your progress.
Playing the Game
Interactive Scenarios: You will go through 5 different scenarios for your chosen creature. Each scenario takes place 20 years apart, spanning a total of 100 years into the future. The scenarios are dynamically generated by our AI, ensuring a unique experience every time you play.
Making Decisions: In each scenario, you will be presented with a situation affecting your creature. You will have four choices (A, B, C, D) on how to respond. Your decisions will impact the creature’s survival and well-being.
Variety of Challenges: The scenarios will include a variety of challenges such as plastic waste, overfishing, pollution, boat traffic, tourism, coastal development, and more. Your responses will determine how well your creature adapts and thrives in these changing environments.
Final Assessment
Review: After completing the fifth scenario, the AI will analyze your decisions throughout the game.
Creature Bio: The AI will generate a detailed bio of your creature, depicting its journey over the 100 years based on your choices.
Image Generation: Along with the bio, an image of your creature at the end of the journey will be created.
Discover and Share
Summary and Gallery: Your creature’s bio and image will be saved in the game’s gallery (Pokedex-style). You can browse through other users’ entries and discover how different decisions impact the creatures differently.
Share: You can view and share your creature's journey and final assessment with others directly from the gallery, or by scanning the custom creature QR.
We hope you enjoy this educational and fun experience while learning about marine life and the importance of making sustainable decisions to protect our oceans!
